KARACHI:

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rejected the contention of its former chief Khalid Mehmood, regarding sale of its broadcast rights in a transparent manner under the incumbent PCB management.

“This process has been carried out in an absolutely transparent manner on the past two occasions by none other than former ICC President Ehsan Mani,” PCB spokesman said in a media release.

Giving details, he said a committee will be formed in which Mani will be a member. He will be involved in each stage of the process from drafting of tender documents till signing of the agreement with the successful bidder.

All major broadcasters will be invited to participate in the tender and an independent audit firm will be asked to monitor the entire process.
