Bilateral trade: FPCCI invites Thai delegation for talks

Mailk asked his counterpart to ask the Thai government to allow on arrival visa.

HYDERABAD: The President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Zubair Ahmed Malik has invited the delegation of Thailand Federation of Industry and Thailand Federation of Chambers of Commerce (TFCC), Board of Trade, to visit Pakistan for bilateral trade talks.

Zubair Mailk along with Vice President FPCCI Shaheen Ilyas Sarwana called on Vice Chairman TFCC, Mr Visit and Chairman Working Group on FTA, Ming Pant Chaya on Monday during his visit to Thailand and discussed various issues particularly establishing Pak-Thailand Joint Business Council and start its activities effectively in order to boost trade between the two countries and avail the opportunities of trade and tariff preferential.

Mailk asked his counterpart to ask the Thai government to allow on arrival visa to the Pakistani businessmen as practiced before. The TFCC agreed to make investments in Pakistan and said that they would prepare feasibility studies on the potential areas of investment as identified by the Malik.
