VJ, model and actor Anoushey Ashraf is a box full of talent and energy. This 30-year-old (who doesn’t look it at all!) looks cool and comfortable with any role she plays. She started her career as a VJ on Indus Vision and after that, as they say, the rest is history.
Judging by the numerous callers on her live TV shows, you can tell that the energy she exudes is contagious. We love how she dresses up. According to Anoushey, her style philosophy is simple. “I work around comfort; I wear whatever is comfortable.” She goes on to say that she likes to dress modestly as she is not “daring” enough to pull off clothes that can land her a controversy.
Solid, dark colours are this TV presenter’s preference and when it comes to bling, she thinks less is more. “I like greens, blues, turquoise and blacks,” she said. Anoushey’s favourite designer is Nomi Ansari, who is also a close friend. “Nomi has very good creations — I absolutely love his clothes.”
Anoushey, who is otherwise lively and chirpy, says she’s not loud when it comes to clothes. “I am not experimental when it comes to dressing up; I don’t take a lot of time deciding what to wear.”
