“I fell in love with Sri [Sridevi] when I watched her Tamil film during the late ‘70s. After watching her film, I wanted to know more about her,” Kapoor told IANS. “I had especially gone to Chennai to meet her at her house, but she was shooting in Singapore. I returned to Mumbai disheartened.”
Looking elegant in a red embroidered sari, the Chandni actor made several attempts to stop Kapoor from revealing further details about their romance but her efforts were in vain.
“I desperately wanted to meet her after watching her film Solva Sawan and wanted her to work with me. So one day I went to meet her on the set of one of her films.” said Kapoor.
Kapoor said that it was a “dream come true” for him when Sridevi acted in his production venture Mr. India. Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor’s brother, starred opposite Sridevi in this super-hit sci-fi comedy.
“I made sure she was comfortable on the set [of Mr. India]. I personally took care of everything. There were no vanity vans at that time, but I arranged for a separate make-up room for her. Gradually, she felt comfortable with me,” he said.
Kapoor was so madly in love with Sridevi that he went all the way to Switzerland especially to see her when she was shooting for her movie, Chandni.
“After coming back, I told my first wife [late Mona Shourie] what I felt for Sri,” confessed Kapoor.
Kapoor finally said, “She has always been there for me. She is not only a talented actor, but a fabulous wife and mother. She still lives in her own world and doesn’t get into controversies. Even after so many years of our marriage, I am still madly in love with her.”
The couple got married in 1996 and has two daughters.

pakistan newspapers and media have a unique habit of glamorizing flop bolllywood actors..such types of news have zero importance in India but generates high interest in Pakistan..I fail to understand how does it affect pakistan...Truly amazing
