LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers held a protest on Saturday to demand the party award a ticket to their favoured candidate. One worker, Akram, climbed an electricity pole outside PML-N’s central secretariat in Model Town, Lahore, demanding the party to award a ticket to Barrister Javed Iqbal, who submitted his nomination papers for the PP-168 constituency of Sheikhupura. Dozens of his supporters gathered in front of the secretariat to protest. Despite the hue and cry, the ticket is yet to be awarded to Iqbal.
