ISLAMABAD: Indian troops raided a Pakistani military post on Sunday, killing one soldier and injuring another, Pakistani Army said, an incident that could heighten tensions between the two nuclear powers.

The Pakistan Army repulsed the attack on the Sawan Patra checkpost in Kashmir, an army spokesman said in a statement.

The two sides then exchanged fire across the Line of Control, an internationally recognised line in the disputed Kashmir region patrolled by troops from both countries.

Maha Prachand Lnd Dhari | 11 years ago | Reply Now and then It has become naive fashion in Pakistan to hint about Nuclear escalation by Private, Terrorist Jehadi, and State elements, this is a hint to suicide, as India is committed to No First Use Policy, but on a Pakistani nuclear strike, the seconder Indian Thermo Nuclear response will simply evaporate Pakistan from Map of Earth and will permanently settle the Kashmir dispute
