MUMBAI:

While the uncertainty surrounding Jab Tak Hai Jaan’s (JTHJ) release in Pakistan persists, Bollywood is all set to witness the last of Yash Chopra’s work.

The premiere for Chopra’s film JTHJ will be like a moving museum of the late film-maker’s work says Shahrukh Khan. He hopes it turns out to be a “memorable” event for the film fraternity.

“There will be a big screen and a special sound system is being brought down by specialists who will make film-watching possible in areas which are not regular studios,” Shahrukh, the leading man of JTHJ, revealed on Wednesday.

“It’ll be a moving museum of Yash ji’s work, which kind of does not end, but continues with Jab Tak Hai Jaan. But somewhere down the line, the journey is still there,” added the 46-year-old.

The Chopra family — his wife Pamela and sons Aditya and Uday — are reportedly planning a grand event. “I don’t know the exact designing that Adi (Aditya), Uday and Pam aunty must be doing with lots of love and care but hopefully, everybody will come, have a great time, and enjoy this eventful and entertaining film,” he added.

Shahrukh also said that the grand premiere was planned even before Chopra passed away on October 21.”The decision to have a premiere was actually even before he had passed away. We were thinking of how to do it. At that time, the idea was that we’ll do different aspects of cinema that he has done — romance, thrill and everyone can party all around the studio,” Shahrukh said.

JTHJ, releasing on November 13, also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

SRK is 47 now, but you are still mentioning 46. Re-state your figures.
