A US drone strike targeting a vehicle killed at least three militants on Monday in North Waziristan Agency, security officials said.
The strike took place in the Babar Khel area of Mir Ali district, 40 kilometres east of Miramshah, the main town of North Waziristan.
“US drones fired four missiles on a militant vehicle, killing three rebels,” a security official said, adding that several drones were flying in the area at the time of the attack.
Another security official confirmed the attack and the casualties but said the identities of the militants killed in the strike were not immediately clear. (WITH Additional input from AFP)
