Three people were killed and two others injured on Saturday when a US predator drone fired two missiles in Datta Khel tehsil of North Waziristan Agency, officials said.
A security official said the missiles targeted a vehicle on the move in Laand Muhammad Khel village. “Three people were killed and two others injured,” he said.
Another security official told The Express Tribune that some foreign militants were killed in the attack but he was unable to provide details. “It’s not clear how important these men are,” he said.
Locals rushed to the site after the deafening sound of the strike was heard.
Saturday’s strike was the second drone attack by the United State this month.
