Crime: Two shot, killed

Police said the suspects appeared to have an old rivalry with the deceased.

FAISALABAD: Two men were shot and killed by unidentified assailants in Rodala Road area on Tuesday. The police told that Taufail Ahmad and Muhammad Umar Hayat, residents of Chak275-GB, were headed towards Chak 277-GB on a motorcycle when some unidentified assailants opened fire at them near Raja Mor. Both received serious bullet injuries and died on the spot. The assailants managed to escape. The police have sent the bodies to a mortuary for a post-mortem examination. They said the suspects appeared to have an old rivalry with the deceased.
