YouTube video of the day: A garage full of music

Tinkling glasses and cups with spoons, beating drums made out of dustbins, jiggling pepper shakers and scraping shovels together – what do you think is going on here?

Don’t be confused, you are watching Char Payee perform a cover of the famous number “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye.

Char Payee – a freestyle garage band – recently released the video of the cover in which all four members of the band are seen using makeshift percussion instruments and playing some delightful tunes.

Using household utensils, stationery items, cans, bottles et al, the band sings along while strumming the guitar.

The first part of the song is the cover, while in the second half, the band starts singing in Urdu on the same melody.
