FAISALABAD: A case was registered with Mamonkanjan police on Monday against a man and his first wife accusing them of killing his second wife. The FIR registered on complaint of Muhammad Safdar, brother of the deceased Zareena Bibi, 20, stated that she was killed in her sleep by her husband Allah Yar, a resident of Chak No555-GB, and his first wife Muneeran Bibi. It alleged that Muneeran Bibi was unhappy with Allah Yar’s second marriage and had incited him to to kill Zareena Bibi, just about a month after their marriage.  The police have yet to arrest the suspects. They said they would wait for the post-mortem examination report to start investigations in the matter. The body was sent for the autopsy early morning on Monday and the report is expected to be received by the police on Tuesday (today). Talking to The Express Tribune, Allah Yar rejected the allegation and said that it was a natural death. He said his in-laws were wrongly implicating him as they were opposed to his marriage with Zareena.
