Two missiles were fired at a car in the Miranshah area.
SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Four people were killed in a US drone strike in North Wazirstan on Wednesday.
According to a security official, two missiles were fired at a car on the Esha-Razmak Road. Number of casualties is expected to rise.
Earlier, 15 militants were killed on June 4 when a US drone fired four missiles on a militant compound in Mir Ali sub-division, North Waziristan.
According to a tribesman who was an eyewitness, the compound was razed to the ground after the attack.
Pakistan strongly condemned a jump in US drone strikes in Pakistan. The foreign ministry had called the attacks “illegal” and said they violated the country’s sovereignty.
Correction: An earlier version of the story had incorrectly mentioned that the strike happened in South Waziristan. It has been corrected to North Waziristan. The error is regretted.

Drone strike kills four in North Waziristan
Great, the US drones are doing the job of our half a million strong army. We cannot control our own area, yet we don’t want anyone else to do that for us either. As the saying goes it is a dirty job but somebody has got to do it. Do we want to maintain safe havens for the terrorists without any fear or world opinion?Recommend
presently west is seeking opening of ‘nato supply routs’ – pakistan had had enough – think about their concern.

Thank you USA..

For how long Pakistan cries condeming US drone strikes in Pakistan. All that they say is that they violated the country’s sovereignty. Take action instead of crying and repeating the same lines of condemnation and violation of country’s sovernity. Recommend
@Mirza:
Great job done by Drones. We are always lazy in doing the job at right time. It is blessing that someone else is doing our duty without billing us. Regarding opinion, our people who are at helms of affairs seldom use their foresight. Look the depreciation in value of Rs. It is nose diving. No one can gauges the consequences. The more you make Bark more your currency will lose its value. Ultimate sufferers are salaried people like me and not Mullahs who get everything through donations.God bless our nation with some sensible leader.

Atleast, ET, Please do some proof read before you publish the news item. The News story talks of South waziristan and while rest of the story talks of North Waziristan.
Probably, your extra vigilant Moderator who moderates every Pakistani comment & is hypersensitive to Pakistani comments must also read proof read the article.

These drones strike must be condemed and stopped at the first place. Whoever gets killed comes second.Sometimes its surprising that a drone comes and kills suspected militants.Well these must be stopped at any cost. This is svere voilation. I suspect that these attacks are not taken as serious as they were supposed to be and there must be a clear stance over it. If there are some miscrants pakistan should decide how to tackle them and bring them for trial.

@Love Pakistan: You know, you actually love Pakistan more than most, thanks for loving our country. Pakistani Rs is going down because of our rouge behavior in the community of nations. The sources of foreign exchange are drying up and as always we are busy shooting ourselves on the foot. We have overplayed our cards yet another time and the NATO has called our bluff.
Thanks and regards,
Mirza

The drone strikes are an act of war, the indiscriminate nature of these weapons is nothing less than a war crime a crime against humanity. It is unfortunate that the perpetrators of these crimes are evading trial in the ICC which appears to controlled and owned lock stock and Barrel by the Anglo American Zionist alliance. There is no excuse for the use of these indiscriminate weapons; even Hitlers Nazis respected Neutral countries boarders. Question is does this make the US military worse than the NAZIS! with attacks on THE ALLIED NATION OF PAKISTAN.Keep that Route closed against this war criminal alliance of the US and ISAF!
Pakistan should be shooting back at these infernal machines.

@Mirza “The sources of foreign exchange are drying up”
thats because of our impotent government. our leaders are not even qualified to run a small business rather than an entire country
