APMSO or All Pakistan Mohajir Students Organization was created as a consequence of Quota System imposed by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in 1976. While the quota was fixed on provincial basis for all other proovinces, the case was totally different for Sindh when it was divided as Sindh-Rural and Sindh-Urban.

As a result, the doors of government jobs were closed forever for most of the educated youth of urban Sindh and APMSO was created to "protect" the rights of educated youth of Urban-Sindh having a particular ethnic background.

Same APMSO and its parent organization, MQM, are blindly supporting PPP despite quota system, target killings, law & order situation, massive unemployment, mega corruption.... all in the name of "reconciliation".
