Enforcement: 100 transport inspectors to start work in 10 days

New enforcement inspectors trained in policing, emergency, relief operation.

The 100 enforcement inspectors hired by the Lahore Transport Company (LTC) will start working in the next 10 days, LTC Chairman Khwaja Ahmad Hassaan announced at their passing out ceremony at the Police Training Centre in Chuhng on Friday.


Addressing the new inspectors, Hassaan said he hoped that they will play an effective role in maintaining traffic discipline and strengthening the enforcement system in the city.

He hoped the inspectors will perform at par with the Motorway Police. Hassaan said that the Lahore Transport Company’s primary objective was to plan, facilitate and regulate public transport.

These new enforcement inspectors have been trained in policing, emergency and relief operation and will be deployed on major roads of the city.

Lahore Transport Company Chief Executive Officer Khwaja Haider Latif, General Manager (enforcement) Kamran Khan and General Manager (communication and marketing) Amjad Hussain were also present at the ceremony.
