An international conference on “The Emergence Issues of Social Sciences in Pakistan” will start on April 27.


The three-day conference , organised by Quaid-i-Azam University in collaboration with Higher Education Commission, will bring together scholars on a common platform to share their research on Pakistan.

A large number of leading figures from academia, government officials and members of civil society will take part in various debates during the conference.

International and local scholars will discuss ways to promote social sciences, highlighting the research on various issues of economy and the state of the country.

The conference also aims to provide an opportunity to scholars to build intellectual linkages and to help layout guidelines and suggestions for policy makers to bring the country out of the current quagmire.
