KARACHI: Pakistan under-22 suffered a 2-1 defeat to Ayuttahya FC 2-1 as their Thailand tour, aimed to give the players exposure before the AFC under-22 championship qualifiers, concluded yesterday. Pakistan took the lead in the 14th minute through Zakir Lashari and led 1-0 at the interval. However, Ayuttaya FC struck the equaliser in the 58th minute and then sealed the win with a 71st-minute goal. The team managed to win two out of its four matches, coach Zavisa Milosavljevic expressed his satisfaction with the players’ performance. “The players have learnt to create chances, but I’ll make a few chances before the qualifiers,” the coach told The Express Tribune. “Their finishing needs to improve.”
