Naek took oath at the Presidency today. Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, federal ministers and senior officials were present during the ceremony.
He has replaced Maula Bux Chandio who resigned from his post during a Senate session earlier this year soon after reports emerged that that his predecessor Babar Awan could be reappointed as the law minister.
Chandio later denied tendering his resignation, however, Leader of the House Nayyer Hussain Bokhari confirmed it.

Another seedy NRO ridden character!
Middle-class jiyala out, crony in. The story of my life.
and the game of musical chairs go on with no relief in sight for masses
Finally his patience is bearing fruit!
Well, he certainly knows what law is all about and how to circumvent it-----whereas poor Mr. Cjandio was a babe in the woods as far as law and legalities are concerned. My guess is he will try to pretend to more resean as oppose to Babar Awan who was used as someone out to badmouth the judiciary at any given opportunity. Not a bad startegy at this late in the game.
