Fire: Furniture godown, yarn shop gutted

Rescue 1122 were called and put down the fire in three hours.

FAISALABAD: Fire broke out at a furniture warehouse owned by Mirza Fayyas in Choti Unasi in the Raza Abad area due to short-circuiting. All the furniture in the shop was destroyed. Rescue 1122 were called and put down the fire in three hours. No loss of life was reported. In another incident, fire broke out at a yarn shop owned by Mohammad Khalid in Mujahidabad in the Factory area due to short-circuiting. Polyester yarn worth millions of rupees was burned. Rescue 1122 controlled the fire.
