Interior Minister Rehman Malik’s helicopter made an emergency landing in Dera Allah Yar on Thursday after experiencing technical failure, an interior ministry spokesperson confirmed.
However, according to the interior ministry, all officials onboard the helicopter remained safe.
Earlier on Tuesday, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s plane also made an emergency landing at the Chaklala airbase in Rawalpindi while on its way to Sukkur. All people onboard remained safe.
