Shia killing: Hail of bullets leave Jafaria Alliance leader injured, son dead
Father, Mohsin Rizvi in stable condition, while son Akmal succumbs to injuries.
Mohsin and Akmal Rizvi were attacked early Friday morning by unknown assailants.
KARACHI: Target killing of Shia leaders returned to Karachi when eminent Jafaria Alliance leader Mohsin Rizvi was attacked along with his son by unknown assailants near Patel Para as they were commuted between Golimar and their home near Islamia College, Express News reported on Friday.
Both father and son were critically injured after the attack, however Mohsin Rizvi managed to drive the car to the nearest hospital in Soldier Bazar.
The assailants managed to escape after the attack.
His son, Akmal was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. While Mohsin Rizvi’s condition was described as stable after doctors performed an emergency operation.
As news of the attack spread, a large number of leaders and workers gathered at the hospital. Distrusting official security, they set up their own cordons.
Jafaria Alliance chief Allama Abbas Kumaili, held the Sindh government responsible for the attack and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.

Not only the Sindh Govt. but the entire security establishment should be held responsible for the death of innocent people at the hands of these murderers. This is not the first time that target killing of shias have been committed. The utter failure to protect and take action against these killers and their backers is tearing the muslims apart. If these killing do not stop the entire Muslim world will be heading for their doom, maybe then we will have peace.Recommend

Not a single Sunni or any liberal extremist will say anything about this. CJ will never see Shia killing as something big and NO SUO MOTO action will be taken.
Liberals will rant about Islam being the problem but its not. We are muslims too and Islam is not the problem but the Saudia, wahabi/deobandi type sects are problem.
Its only because of Pakistan that we have not taken up arms as we realize that if we start target killing of Sunnis the enemies of Pakistan will take benefit and eventually Pakistan will break.
We love Pakistan and we are requesting all Pakistanis(Sunnis/Shias/Non Muslims) peacefully to say something about this Shia killing and email or sent letters to CJ before its too late.

Killing of any human being irrespective of one’s religious beliefs is to be condemned in strongest terms and is a heinous crime. Unfortunately in Pakistan everyone thinks that his particular sect/belief is the only right path (irrespective whether he follows its true teachings) and want his individual/sect’s beliefs thrust on others. Everyone is conditioned and influenced by the family and the environment in which one is brought up. There is no tolerance to listen to another person’s point of view, never mind open debate. There seems to be a conspiracy of the majority against minorities. There are Sunnis who would like Shia’s to be declared as Non-Muslims. Why not leave it to Allah/God to judge. LET EVERYONE FIND HIS OWN WAY TO SALVATION.

I appeal to all Sunni brothers to condemn the Shia Killing by banned activists of SSP-LeJ-TTP as we consider them Muslims NOT. They are neither Sunnis nor Shias. Because true Shias/Sunnis believe in Peace-Unity-Love-Harmony because all are MUslims and Islam is a religion of peace.

Is there any other way to show anger in Pakistan particularly against shias. In old times, the most ignorant people of arab were fighting because they were ignorant. Now, a group in Islam emerged who are unable to digest somebody with greater knowledge and moderate thinking.
