RAHIM YAR KHAN:

A man killed his mother-in-law and sister-in-law on Wednesday over a family dispute.

Police said Rab Nawaz, a resident of Niazi Colony, had a quarrel with his wife Saima a few days ago, after which she went to stay at her parents’ house. They said on Wednesday, Nawaz went to her parent’s house to bring his wife back, but she refused to go with him. This led to a fight between them. Saima’s mother tried to stop them and told Nawaz to leave the house.

According to Saima, he pushed her back due to which her sister started hitting him and shouted for help. She said Nawaz left at that time but threatened to come back.

She said a few hours later, he returned with his brother, Salman, and attacked his mother and sister with a dagger. She said when she started shouting for help, he shot at them and the two men then fled. Station House Officer Mohammad Aslam Khan of the B Division police station said an FIR has been registered against the two men. He said the police were looking for them.
