An official told The Express Tribune that the attack took place in the Mandao area on the border between North and South Waziristan agencies. “One missile hit the vehicle while the other two landed nearby,” he said.
Local sources said that the area, Sara Rogha sector, is sparsely populated and the vehicle was completely destroyed.
The area is inhabited by repatriated members of the Mehsud Tribe, many of whom had left because of a military operation that was launched in the area. The next phase of repatriation of the Mehsud Tribe is expected to start on March 15.

What we Amreecans can't understand why you people complain. You beg us for money every year - since last 50 years or so. We give you money and make your leaders and Army fat and happy. You stay thankless and your khaki/ISI continues to spawn people that want to hurt us and our interests. So we use the cheapest form of killing machine i.e. drones. Seriously, you think these people would think twice about flying these bad boys on NY or DC?
What would you have us do? Gas them? Seriously, given you are not sovereign - you have show-sha of being a functioning democracy and sovereign but you know as well any anybody with half a brain that it is farce. You are NOT sovereign.
So stop being begger or "bhikhari" as you call it, and have a functioning state then we can talk about us not killing your bad guys. No go back to saying your prayers and still being one of the most corrupt states in the world and persecuting and killing your own people in the name of religion.
We have failed to exercise our own control over these parts of the country we now have no right to complaint. If our more than half a million army cannot do it, the world would not sit idle on their hands. As we say it is a dirty job but somebody has got to do it! In fact if we really want to control terrorism we should be happy that it is being done without us getting involved.

The terrorists who kill innocent people should be killed by any means and drones is one of the most effective weopon system to achieve it.
It is always interesting to read how drone attacks kill suspected militants while the PAK military kills only militants. This just proves that the PAK military is the best in the world.
@Azim: Excellent post! Completely agree with you. Those who complain about the drones seem to forget that the targets of these strikes are militants who are responsible for killing and maiming hundreds, if not thousands, of Pakistanis. All the quackery about Pakistan's sovereignty being violated conveniently ignores the fact that the militants have been violating that sovereignty for years.
I say extend drone strikes to the inner cities where known terrorists are residing and spreading hate in full view of the authorities. If we are to incompetent or scared to take care of our terrorist problem then there is nothing wrong in outsourcing the job.

Drone have been very effective to control these terrorists! something our army, Govt, as well as we as a nation have failed on. And for all those who question drone, be reminded drone came after TTP gave refuge to Al-Qaeda! Yes we as a nation are paying price of these drone strikes, but we need to remember that we collectively are responsible for letting these criminals settle and operate from our homeland.
We could had seen Al-Qaeda / Taliban ruling the country by now if drones would had not been there. From Osama, to Khalid Sheikh to other prominent leadership, all were caught of killed in Pakistan. Another example that we need to worry about is how Army brigadier of strategic and famous III brigade was planning for a hostile takeover and handover of Pakistan to terrorist!
So, while there is bad coming from drones, I feel it has been a blessing in disguise for Pakistan.

Well Pakistanis don't seem to have a problem in having someone else kill their fellow Pakistanis... no wonder everyone treats us like the way they treat us... unreal that some people would actually get happy on deaths of innocent civilians which is 90% of the case...
