LONDON:

Amidst another brewing controversy, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain appealed for ‘patience and restraint’ in the current political scenario, saying he fears ‘political martyrdoms’ in the near future.

In a press release issued by the MQM’s London secretariat, Altaf urged that confrontation between institutions must be avoided.

The MQM leader also advised all stakeholders to avoid aggravating the situation and end their ‘confrontation’ in the larger interests of the country.
