Wasila-e-haq: BISP, Sindh govt. sign MoU

The MoU of Rs12 billion was signed by Special Finance Secretary Sohail Rajput and Muhammad Sher Khan of the BISP.

KARACHI: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and the Sindh government signed on Thursday the MoU of the Wasila-e-Haq scheme at Chief Minister House. The MoU of Rs12 billion was signed by Special Finance Secretary Sohail Rajput and Muhammad Sher Khan of the BISP. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to jobless youngsters of the province who can start their own businesses. Between 33,000 to 34,000 jobless persons would be given financial support. Each person would be given around Rs300,000 as a grant. BISP chairperson Farzana Raja attended.
