ISLAMABAD: Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) Director General Ahmed Shuja Pasha submitted his reply to the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) probing the Memogate scandal, Express News reported on Tuesday.

Pasha submitted his reply in the form of a letter to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Senator Raza Rabbani, who is heading the parliamentary committee.

The committee formed by the federal government to investigate the Memogate scandal had summoned DG ISI and former ambassador to the US Husain Haqqani last month to explain their respective positions on the matter.

The 15-member panel had also decided ‘in principle’ to invite Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz.

The multi-party, bicameral committee was also assigned to review Pakistan’s terms of engagement with the United States following the November 26 deadly Nato air raid on Pakistani border posts in the Mohmand tribal agency.

As far as Mr S PASHA should be concerned about the P.Commity, he has done nothing wrong, If the ISI are not going to look after the interest of the country, be it a false alarm or a real situation, then please tell me who is, the parliament!!! Mr Pasha has done nothing wrong in probing the allegations re the government, its a legitimate step taken to ensure the safety of PAK high priority leaders, Mr Pasha should walk in the parliament with his head held high. after all the allegations was against the leadership of the government…

When government obstruct the investigation of it’s own civilian officer Zafar Qureshi on legitimate case of NICL then why would DG ISI asked the permission of Prime Minister of Pakistan who is known to block investigations which concerns his government?

So much energies of nation have been spent on this issue and this issue must be decided to expose the enemies if any or the innocence of accused people named on different forums. If it is not decided then the nation will lose confidence on judiciary. Just must be done (with the nation) let the heaven should fall.
If the commission remains failed to give the absolute findings then the army must come forward to defend the country from this type of attacks.
