More than 30 teachers from the twin cities, Karachi and Kot Addu were briefed on inquiry-based science learning at a workshop here on Friday.
They learnt skills on how to better teach basic science at the workshop, which was the third such workshop arranged by Pakistan Science Foundation in collaboration with the French embassy.
Two French trainers, Michel Ouliac and Patrick Marcel, conducted the training programme. The first workshop, which also focused on the teaching of science in primary schools to develop the questioning attitude of children during experiments, was first held October 25-30 in 2010 and 27 teachers participated.
The second such workshop was organised from April 25 to May 4 this year.
