Two Pakistanis killed by NATO firing

Residents of Chagai district had gone to visit relatives when they were killed by NATO forces in Bibijan, Afghanistan.

QUETTA: Two Pakistani men were gunned down by Nato forces in the Bibi Jan area of Afghanistan’s Helmand province which shares a border with the Chagai district of Balochistan.

Balochistan Levies confirmed the incident saying that the two were shot dead in Helmand on Thursday morning while on their way to visit relatives in Afghanistan.  “The two men went to visit their relatives in the Brabcha area in Afghanistan from Chagai when Nato forces opened fire on them, killing both instantly,” relatives of the deceased told local journalists. According to a spokesperson of the Frontier Corps, the incident of firing took place inside Afghan territory.

The victims were identified as Abdullah and Mohammad Usman.
