SUKKUR: Seventeen-year-old R’s family was held at gunpoint while she was kidnapped from her house in Sher Mohammad Mahar village and gang raped.
The Khenjoo police said that, on Monday night, a group of armed men broke into D’s house, overpowered the family and fled with his daughter, R. The men allegedly gang raped the girl, left her outside her house later that night, unconscious.
D registered a case against seven people, including Yasin Pitafi, Khan Mohammad Pitafi, Allah Diwayo Pitafi, Din Mohammad Pitafi, Safdar Pitafi, but arrests have yet to be made. He told the police that Yasin Pitafi tried to have an affair with his daughter. When she refused, the offended Yasin attacked her. D claims that Yasin and his men have influence in the area. The distraught father threatened to set himself and his daughter on fire outside the SSP office if he is not given justice.
Khenjoo SHO Abdul Shakoor Lakho told The Express Tribune that the girl was sent to Daharki hospital where she was examined and samples were sent to a laboratory in Rohri. Though the hospital confirmed that she had been raped, they could not say how many men were involved until the test results arrive.

@csmann: You are correct Islam is a religion of peace. However, not all Muslims follow their religion. If a Muslim commits a crime, it does not mean there is something wrong with religion or since he is a Muslim he has committed a crime. A human being of any religion who is a criminal will commit a crime no matter which religion he or she belongs to. In short, if a true Muslim did understand his/her religion they would never think of performing such evil acts. Our religion is of peace, love, sharing/caring for fellow human beings, and much more.

@Freeman: 95% of rapes in America are date-rapes. In America, a wife can deny sex to husband and if a husband forces himself on wife, wife can say husband raped her. A boy and a girl can go date and both can get naked voluntarily and at the last moment if the women feels she does not want sex and if the boy forces himself, that's rape. American rape and pakistani rape are 2 different things because women have more freedom.

In America every 5 second one Girl is raped. They do not come on news why? American Women organisation says this.

Police have not made any arrests as they are waiting for 4 witnesses to show up. Police have forgotten Constitutional Law but are well versed in Islamic Law. Lets hope that justice is rendered.

People in Pakistan are becoming worst than the Beasts. Everyday there are reports , stories about Rapes / gang rapes/ kidnapping etc but I have yet to see any kidnapper or rapist being punished here in Pakistan. Even the judges let the perpetrators go free, I hope you guys remember the case!!!
