Capital Punishment: Man gets death penalty for 6 murders

The court has awarded Abdul Hafeez the death penalty on six counts

ARIFWALA: Additional Sessions Judge Khalil Ahmad Naz sentenced a man to death on six counts of murder on Wednesday.  According to the prosecution, the accused, Abdul Hafeez shot and killed Riaz Ahmad, his wife Hameeda Bibi, sons Kashif, Zahir Abbas, daughters Fauzia and Rukhsana. The court has awarded Abdul Hafeez the death penalty on six counts and acquitted Irshad, Abdul Rasheed, Abdul Majeedand Abdul Hameed on the benefit of doubt. Naz has also been ordered to pay a fine to the victims’ family or undergo an additional sentence.
