Pakistan Whites face visa delays

LAHORE: Four players faced visa delays and were not able to travel with the rest of the Pakistan Whites Hockey team, who on Monday left for China to take part in a four-nation tournament being played in Dalian from July 7. The four players include Imran Butt, Mohsin Iqbal, Waqas Khan and Zeeshan Ali.

Interestingly, the Pakistan Hockey Federation has named Imran Butt, brother of Rehan Butt, as the only goal-keeper, for the event where Malaysia and Russia will be competing besides hosts China.

The team also includes Waseem Feeroze as manager and head coach, and assistant coaches Shahbaz Junior, Muhammad Akhlaq and Rana Zaheer.
