Pakistani ‘prince of pop’, Ali Zafar, fresh from an acting project with Yash Raj Films — Mere Brother Ki Dulhan — will now feature in the upcoming film London, Paris, New York, confirmed a press release by Fox Star Studios and Rose Movies. The film, produced by well-known film-makers Goldie Behl and Shrishti Arya, also marks the directorial debut of Anu Menon.
“In our film we have a new cast of immensely talented actors — Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao — who we are sure will definitely appeal to the youth in this coming of age love story” confirmed Vijay Singh, CEO Fox Star Studios, India.
London, Paris, New York is Zafar’s third film in B-town after the singer-cum-actor made his Bollywood debut last year with Tere Bin Laden. The 31-year-old’s second Bollywood production Mere Brother Ki Dulhan — which also features Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif — hits theatres in September.
“For London, Paris, New York, I am composing the music, writing the songs and singing them as well. I hope I live up to expectations, if any. You will see that in my future projects as well,” stated Zafar.
Capturing the angst of those in their early 20s, London, Paris, New York is the story of Nikhil and Lalitha — two completely different individuals who are drawn to each other in spite of their differences or perhaps because of them. The film follows their journey of love as they meet in London, Paris and New York for a night in each city. London, Paris, New York is a love story which also seeks to bring back wit into Bollywood’s romantic comedies.
The movie is in production and is slated for release in the first quarter of 2012.

Once again bollywood rules… While India shines, our industry is dead. The intrinsic hate in our society, carefully planted by politicians and mullahs to suit their own agenda has completely destroyed art, culture, dance, literature, music, instruments in pak. Recommend
Good to see him not jumping on every absurd offer he gets. Lets hope that he goes to hollywood and gets some good roles. Would be good to see some one giving company to Faran Tahir. Recommend
Lollywood is so used to pushing out trash with the likes of Shan and Momy that when they see a talent like Ali Zafar they ignore it and Bollywood recognizes talent and are taking every opportunity so Ali is on this third Bollywodd film !!!
Does any oneout there know if Mirais still interested in casting Ali for “RELUCTANT TERRORIST” or she has moved on to another actor? rumor has it that Angelina Joli & Brad Pitt are eying our Ali Zafar for a block buster action packed within the near future.
Watch out Hollywood – ALI ZAFAR us ready any time.

Lollywood alone is not responsible. Has Pakistan excelled in other areas and only film industry is behind?
