Met office predicts more rain in next 24 hours

The current spell of rains is likely to continue for three days in most areas of Sindh.

PAKISTAN: The Met office on Wednesday predicted more rain in the next 24 hours.

According to the Met office, the current spell of rains is likely to continue for three days in most areas of Sindh. Karachi is expected to receive a thunderstorm in the next 12 hours.

The monsoon rain spell began in most areas of Interior Sindh, including Hyderabad and Sukkur.

Thunderstorms with heavy rain are also likely to hit various regions in Upper and Southern Punjab, North East Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, more than four hours of rain in Hyderabad and its surrounding areas badly affected the electricity system.

18 grid stations in Interior Sindh have been shut down, while 32 feeders of Hyderabad region have also stopped working.
