Three police officials, including SHO of the New Saryab Police Station Manzoor Tareen, were gunned down on Sunday in an ambush in Killi Shah Nawaz area of Saryab.

The SHO had just reached home from the police station when armed men on motorbikes opened fire at his police mobile. SHO Tareen, head constable Altaf and driver constable Usman received multiple bullet wounds and  died on the spot.

The assailants, allegedly four in number, managed to escape from the scene. Heavy contingents of police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

They need strong, very strong intelligence and superior crack security force to root out any foreingn or Indian infiltration causing mystery killings that even the police force cannot identify and grab at it, but instead they get killed themselves. How could the criminals escape and do not get chased and caught or intercepted by the next check post. It looks like security has been too immobile in both Quetta and the entire Balochistan for much much too long.
