Six militants were killed and three injured during clashes in Orakzai Agency.

Sources said that clashes started in Arhanga Kandao locality of Dabori area in upper Orakzai Agnecy. The clashes started as security forces were conducting a search and clearance operation in the area. However, no losses on the side of security forces have been reported so far.

Meanwhile, three security personnel were injured in a mine blast in Mohmand Agency. Security personnel were on a routine patrol in Utam Kalay area of Tehsil Bazai when a mine blast took place on a roadside.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the blast. Gunship helicopters have also targeted suspected militant hideouts in various areas of Tehsil Baizai
