Development: 100 primary schools for Balochistan

QUETTA: Balochistan education department will establish two new Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) at Zhob and Turbat districts during the current financial year. Sources from the Balochistan education department said that Rs100 million have been allocated for the project in order to facilitate the students of these remote districts. Hundred new primary schools will be made functional and another 50 primary schools will be upgraded to middle level, they said. In addition, a cadet college will be established at Panjgor district and an education enclave at Mastung. An integrated policy has also been devised for capacity building of teachers, and for empowering the community and private sector schools through the Balochistan Education Foundation.
