Central Leader Islami Tehreek Pakistan and MMA Allama Sajid Naqvi hinted at the reunification of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal saying that the nation would hear “good news” on 13th June 2010 after a joint meeting of religious parties leaders for restoration of MMA.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he pointed out that controversies among the MMA leadership in the past had affected the functioning of the MMA, adding that differences between MMA leadership didn't mean that MMA has been ignorant of its responsibilities.

He also said that in the prevailing circumstances the masses have been disappointed in the incumbent leadership that has failed to come up to the expectations of the masses.

He also pointed out that according to a Transparency International Pakistan report, corruption was at its lowest ebb during the MMA regime in  Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa, while in the prevailing tenure of ANP, corruption has reportedly been at its peak in the province.

Responding to a query, he said that all the religious parties of MMA are bound to accept the decision of the central Shura of their relevant parties therefore future strategy of MMA would be designed according to the stances of all the central Shura.
