PESHAWER: Eight militants have been killed and 12 other injured as jet planes bombed militant hideouts in the Tehsil Bezai area of Mohmand Agency on Tuesday.
According to official sources, jet planes targeted different areas of the tehsil where several militant hideouts were destroyed.
Security forces also managed to recover a large cache of weapons in the search operations that were conducted later in the area.
The operation in Mohmand Agency has been ongoing where at least 30 Taliban militants were killed and dozens more injured last week.
Repeated airstrike by helicopter gunships and warplanes have been targeting the Taliban occupied area of Mohmand Agency.
Safi and Bezai sub-divisions are most affected by ongoing security operation.
