PESHAWAR: Express 24-7 has obtained the school certificate of the injured suicide bomber of Sakhi Sarwar Shrine in Dera Ghazi Khan. Initial investigations reveal that 10 suicide bombers including the captured bomber had been sent to different parts of the country.

The suicide bomber, Omar Fidai had been arrested at the spot on the day of the blast.

According to his school card, Fidai is the son of Akbar Khan and a student of class seven in Noor public school Husso Khel, Waziristan.

Fidai belongs to the Khati village of Mir Ali and sources say that four people including him were sent to DG Khan for suicide attacks. They were shown the shrine two days prior to the eventual suicide attack on April 3.

Sources add that Fidai also said four suicide bombers came to DG Khan with him — Abdullah Dawar, Mutaqi and Aziz.

Eleven suspects have been arrested in connection with the twin suicide blasts at the shrine of sufi saint Sakhi Sarwar in DG Khan so far.

Time to track down the nexus – what do these bombers have in common. If they are the product of the extremist teaching of a particular Imam then toss that bogus holy man in jail.Recommend

This is the first time I am commenting in agreement with you My dear Vasan..
You have clean bowled me there..
Pakistan’s biggest problem is Terrorist minded Mullahs and their students…Mind you; our demographic pattern is not as bad and what people suggest..I have been living and have been to different cities in Pakistan and the true picture is like this:
    Liberals: 20 %
    Moderates: 40%
slightly attached with fanatics but not terrorists: 20%
    Fanatics/Terrorists: 20%
So you see only 20% are really dangerous and the rest are better…
we need to either educate the 20% terrorist minded or fill them in jails….. Recommend

Noor Public School! the name suggests its one of the zillions of private schools making bucks in the name of ‘modern education’.
the modern education centres are also producing suicide squads this is a new thing. will the government have a check on the so called model schools???
immagine one day we will have suicide bombers from model schools in the metropolitans and the trend reaches to the elite schools one day.
just imagine your heart beat gathers speed as the word braking news flashed through your tv screen and then appears the newscaster giving you the good news. “investigations reveal that the sucide bomber was a student of city school (or say beachon house).
the other day further news will appear in the papers that the suicide bomber wanted to bring a revolution in the country but the police and hot temperature was making it difficult for him. then the molvi sahb who taught him Quran at his residence came to his rescue and showed him the right path of revolution.Recommend

@Channel: You say there are 20% hard core terrorists. If you do a little math, that amounts to about 36 million terrorists! Then if you multiply that by 72, that would require to ready 2.6 billion virgins in heaven. I hope the mad mullah’s have sent in a request to Allah to get busy with this matter. No offense meant, but a little light-hearted perspective is needed to keep one’s sanity amid all this extremism and violence we witness nowadays.Recommend

@Channel, I don’t know where in Pakistan did you find so many terrorists, but I belong to one of the tribal agencies, which are considered breading ground for terrorist and I can safely claim that only a couple of dozen foreign funded hard core criminals disguising as religious soldiers and a few hundred misguided and illiterate followers of these elements, who hardly have anything to do with religion, are involved in all this bloodshed and everything will cease to exist, once US lose its economic interests in the region or opts to withdraw from them.
Why can’t you people have an objective assessment of the damages from terrorism and the resultant so-called ‘war on terror’ and see who is at loss.
During the last 10 years: Iraq and Afghanistan.
Militants killed= 14,000 (Around a hundred of their so-called commanders)
    US/Allied forces= 5,900,
    Civilians= 1.2 million (37,000 in Pakistan).Recommend

    @kazmi:
The problem is not Americans and things will not get better when they leave. Americans are there because of these idiots. UK are there because of these idiots, and so on. Unfortunately, these guys are using PAK soil as a base for both domestic and non domestic terrorism.

Have you not heard what interpol and PAK interior ministry did with World cup would be bomber net work. And Bhali bomber. Next is mumbai bombers going to India.

How many of these brain washed children are walking around in PAK?

Americans are going to be in Afghanistan for a long time, one way or the other. Combat troops will be gradually reduced, in 10 years, hopefully.

Afghanistan is new south Korea. Don’t be surprised if united Arab league forces join in Afghanistan.

Until this menace is gone no one is going away any where.

Entire world is funding the Forces in Afghanistan. Just out of courtesy for Pakistan, the Duran line is not crossed yet. One more incidence out side of PAK soil, they are in, as long as it takes. Hope this clear things up.

It is always the innocent people suffer, either in PAK now, or UK, Spain, India, Moscow,USA,
    Tanzania, etc.before.

Can you imagine how many children’s future in the refugee camps of Pakistan these guys are spoiling, leave alone the adults? Recommend

I am glad that you see the problem as a problem. But you have to realise that your demographic pattern is your internal nuclear bomb, That is because you have whole lot of people who are not able to educate themselves for various reasons and end up getting indoctrinated by the mullahs one way or the other, The best solution will be to reform madressahs or provide an alternate true and honest educational system. Otherwise in a few decades you will see lot of implosion. The channelizing of the youth into the correct direction, by means of education, will be the biggest game changer for Pakistan and indirectly for India.Recommend

The fact that all suicide attacks are carried out by young teenage boys shows that this is not ideological driven. In the international law, the juveniles are not punished harshly because they are not considered to be mature enough to decide on different issues, assuming they may have committed a crime under temptation or duress among many other factors. Why is it that the young men fight and die in Afghanistan but get never involved in suicide attacks in Pakistan? The reason is that the idea of suicide attack on civilians and even security forces does not sell with mature adults in Pakistan. Therefore, “certain elements” choose young, immature boys and indoctrinate rubbish into them before sending them out on their missions. Recommend
