Hazara Province Movement: JI arranges all-party conference

Conference as part of a movement for the creation of a separate Hazara province in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

ABBOTABAD: The Abbottabad chapter of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Wednesday organised an all-party conference (APC) as part of a movement for the creation of a separate Hazara province in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. According to a press release, several political and religious parties attended the APC in which it was decided that on April 12 a public meeting will be arranged in connection with Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Hazara. On April 12, 2010, several people were killed when police opened fire on a protest in favour of Hazara province in Abbottabad. Maulana Shafiq-ur-Rehman will preside over the meeting and all parties will use their own flags at the meeting. The fate of the Hazara province movement will be decided on April 12.

pervez fahad | 13 years ago | Reply Well if there is going to be a new saraiki province,then there will also have to be a new muhajir province of karachi & hyderabad & a new hazara province in KP.
