Karachi violence: Death toll continues to rise

KARACHI: Three men were killed in incidents of violence in Karachi on Thursday.

Eight people lost their lives in different incidents of violence in the city on Wednesday night. Two men were killed in an incident of firing Wednesday night while six others lost their lives in the ongoing spate of target killings in Karachi.

Two youngsters were shot dead by unidentified men in the Quaidabad area of the city. The bodies of the boys, aged 18 and 19 years, were taken to Jinnah Hospital.

The police said no identification documents were recovered from the deceased. Search for the deceased's families and suspects is underway.

Meanwhile, six people fell prey to target killings in the areas of Orangi Town, Garden Town, Qasba Colony and Sadiqabad.

Police and Rangers have not been able to curb violence in the city as the death toll continues to climb.

Aamer | 13 years ago | Reply Some people are still adamant that Karachi is the best city. I think this just goes to show that Karachi is hell on Earth, in no other city does such a thing go on for such a long time.
