Who wore it better?

KARACHI: Looks like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone's sartorial choices are following the footsteps of their back-to-back Hollywood debuts. With both actors donning glittering ensembles recently, we feel their looks leave a lot to be desired. Here's our take:

The Piku star wore a Naeem Khan gown for the Indian premiere of her Hollywood debut xXx: Return Of Xander Cage. Although, the shade chosen by Deepika’s stylist Shaleena Nathani was slightly different from the one worn by Priyanka, it can't be denied that both the outfits looked remarkably similar. Deepika looked hot with a plunging neckline and a deep cut-out back, but we feel the figure-hugging dress left her with little space to breathe. With a nude pout and smokey eyes, we feel she could have opted for a darker lip colour. Deeps completed her look with a loosely tied pony tail.

B-town’s desi girl opted for a Ralph Lauren number for the Golden Globe Awards. The plunging neckline looked several sizes smaller on her and she could have forgone all the jewellery. However, full points on hair and makeup. The oxblood lips complemented her skin tone and the loose hair in soft waves was a winner.

Verdict: While Deepika pulled off the dress better, Priyanka’s hair and makeup saved her from a major fashion faux pas.
