SUKKUR: The accountability court, Sukkur awarded on Saturday a seven-year imprisonment to a food inspector of district Jacobabad.

The accused was also fined Rs44.4 million on charges of misappropriation.

According to National Accountability Bureau spokesperson Abdul Aziz Noonari, a food inspector in Thull, district Jacobabad, was found guilty of misappropriation of wheat and wheat bags worth millions of rupees.

He was arrested and challaned in the accountability court, Sukkur and the court announced its verdict on Saturday.
