The mannequin challenge has taken over the Pakistani entertainment industry by storm and we see no signs of it fading away any time soon.

In a new challenge which has surfaced on social media, Karachi's Iqra University held its very own challenge, which the varsity claimed, included over 8,000 people.

Singers, including QB and Abida Parveen were performing at the 2016 alumni meetup of Iqra University at the Golf Club when they took up the challenge. The students were allowed to bring their spouses along with them at the event. After being posted on the university's official Facebook page, the video, made during the live concert, has gone viral on social media.

It was a spectacular sight to see fans stand frozen with their hands in the air as Rae Sremmurd's Black Beatles played in the background.



The minute-long pause also showed Quratulain frozen in time with Sufi maestro Abida Parveen and DJ Ahmed Godil also present on the occasion.
