KURRAM AGENCY: Security forces killed eight militants during an operation in the central Kurram Agency on Wednesday.

The forces pounded militant hideouts with heavy artillery, destroying two hideouts and a vehicle.

According to reports, the operation was conducted in the Spair Kat and Chanarak areas of central Kurram Agency.

A day earlier, militants had fired rockets targeting military check posts in Hangu. However, the rockets fell on civilian houses killing six people and injuring 10 others.
