Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Don’t be surprised if you’re misunderstood or, alternatively, you draw the wrong conclusion in even the simplest of situations. While Mercury is no longer retrograde, during this week it’s forming a series of challenging aspects, each of which could lead to confusion, if not very real stumbling blocks.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

During this week of changes, both major and minor, you’ll find yourself rethinking habits you’ve regarded as a fixed element of your life. The trick is to spot these the moment they arise, even if your instinct is to ignore them. Tempting as that is, within days you’ll realise it would be unwise.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

A few days ago your ruler Mercury moved to join the Sun and fortunate Jupiter in accenting who and what you care about, triggering near-magical encounters and amazing ideas or offers. True, this is taking place during an incredibly unsettling period. Still, nothing can undermine the wonderfulness of what’s happening.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

For months you’ve been tiptoeing around potentially unsettling issues, fearing the dramas tackling them would cause. Now that events are forcing you to discuss these, it will be a relief. Better yet, once you’re actually talking about the matters in question, you’ll realise others aren’t nearly as sensitive as you feared.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

One particular arrangement has taken up a vast amount of time and thought, but now things are finally settled. Or so it seems. By Friday’s clash between your ruler the Sun and the unpredictable Uranus, you’ll probably need to rethink that arrangement yet again. Still, this should be the final version.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

It’s not that you’ve neglected the financial and practical side of your life, although it may seem so. Rather, you’ve been so preoccupied by several very personal matters that you could think of little else. Now that they’re resolved, you can turn your attention to these practicalities, and other, pressing situations.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

The move by the communication planet, Mercury, into the most strategic portion of your chart, in late July, triggered a complex cycle, one in which certain facts had to remain unspoken, at least for the time being. Now that Mercury’s finally in Libra, you can discuss those crucial matters openly.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

Long ago you decided you’d rather forget about certain elements of your past, so have simply never mentioned them, even to those closest. Now that situations related to these are coming to a head, there’s no avoiding them. Or discussions. Tell those who matter everything, and the sooner, the better.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Often others can be reticent about discussing certain matters frankly. However, you’re usually the first to raise such issues. Yet you’ve ignored several such situations, mostly because you were concerned about the time the resulting dramas would devour. While that was probably true, these really can’t be ignored for much longer.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

One characteristic you share with your fellow earth sign, Virgo, is a preference to plan ahead. From your perspective, it’s efficient. But it also makes you feel you’re in control. Difficult as it is acknowledging you might benefit from this unsettled week’s twists and turns, ultimately, they’ll be in your best interests.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

Because you, as an Aquarius, rather enjoy others’ eccentricities, you usually don’t mind having to work around these quirks. But now these are preventing you pursuing an important plan or idea. Either discuss this or ask those the individuals for their help. If they refuse, you can proceed without their interference.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Sometimes minor arguments are no more than that. But with so much in transition, seemingly unimportant questions or even objections could be important, if not crucial. The trick to dealing with all of these is to discuss them, but briefly. That way, should they surface again, you’ll be prepared.
