The objective of TPC is to provide centralised service and back office support to branches

KARACHI: National Bank of Pakistan President Syed Iqbal Ashraf inaugurated the Centralised Trade Processing Center (TPC) at Clifton in Karachi and the occasion was graced by the senior management of the Bank. The objective of TPC is to provide centralised service and back office support to branches in relation to trade finance business. As per the best practices followed in the international as well as local banking industry, the Operations Group of NBP was assigned the task for establishment of the Centralised Trade Processing Centre. NBP envisions establishment of two TPCs, one is the south located at Karachi covering Sindh and Balochistan, and the second in North located at Lahore covering Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
