Changes in bureau: Officials transferred in various departments

Some have been relieved from duties for around three months for training

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has ordered the postings/transfers of a number of officers, in the public interest, with immediate effect.

Those who were transferred included Dr Syed Ataur Rehman, who will now work as the law and order secretary in the FATA Secretariat, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Board of Revenue member Hazrat Masood Mian has been posted as the finance secretary in FATA Secretariat, Provincial Inspection Team Peshawar member Muhammad Ramazan has been posted as the special secretary at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the environment department special secretary Syed Kamran Shah and Chief Minister secretariat special secretary Arshad Majeed Mohmand have been directed to report to the establishment department and the additional secretary at the FATA Secretariat, Muhammad Ziaul Haq, has been posted as the special secretary of the environment department. Others were transferred from or to departments and institutes, including Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority and Local Government and Rural Development Department, Communication and Works Department. Police officials in different districts have also been transferred.

Besides, some officials of different departments have been relieved from duties to attend Mid-Career Management Couse at National Institute of Management Peshawar. The training will start from August 22 and will go on till November 25. However, these officials will continue to hold charge of their already occupied posts.

Moreover, the K-P government has authorised three of its officers to hold additional charges of the posts mentioned against their names, till further orders are given.

The industries director in the province, Nisar Ahmad, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of TEVTA K-P managing director; Muhammad Yousaf Afridi (Postal Service BS-19) revenue authority director in Peshawar has been assigned the additional charge of director general of the same authority and deputy director of the mines and minerals development department, Fazle Wahid, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of the department’s director general.
