14 terrorists killed, nine hideouts destroyed in Pak-Afghan border operation

Resolute action will reduce cross border movement of terrorists, says ISPR

Pakistan Army destroyed nine hideouts of terrorists and killed 14 terrorists after an operation was launched on Tuesday along the Pak-Afghan border to limit their cross border movement.

The operation was carried out along the border in Rajgal Valley in Khyber Agency's high mountain passes, said DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Bajwa.

“In today's air strikes 14 terrorists were killed and 11 were injured."

Terrorist dens were hit precisely in the treacherous terrain, said the military's media wing, adding that resolute action will reduce cross border movement of terrorists.

Afghanistan, Pakistan agree on ceasefire along Torkham border

Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan Army confirmed launching of the operation against terrorists to reinforce troop deployment in Rajgal Valley and guard against terrorists along the high mountains and passes in Khyber Agency.

The operation was launched after the COAS said all efforts would be committed to ensuring peace and stability along the Pak-Afghan border.

Pak-Afghan border peace a priority

Earlier this month, Pakistan constructed a gate at the Torkham border, termed by Afghanistan as inappropriate and a violation of previous agreements.

Both sides later declared ceasefire and agreed on the formation of a bilateral mechanism to discuss all issues related to border security.

Sprite | 7 years ago | Reply The 14 who were killed had "Terrorist" tattooed on the backs. That's how they were targeted. This is a drama to get the $300 million that was refused. No proofs needed apparently.
