Girls in Mansehra clinch top three positions in annual B Com exams

1,310 candidates appeared at Hazara University for the exam of which 41% passed

MANSEHRA: Hazara University announced on Friday that the top three positions in its annual Bachelors of Commerce (B Com) final examinations had been clinched by female candidates.

According to Dr Azhar Hussain Shah, who is in charge of exams at Hazara University, a total of 1,310 candidates appeared in 2016 for the annual B Com exams of which 542 (41%) managed to pass.

Dr Shah disclosed that Rabia Faheem of Jinnah College in Mansehra secured first position with a total of 1,165 marks. She was followed in second position by Farzana Rehman of Syed Ahmed Shaheed College of Commerce and IT, also in Mansehra, with 1,115 marks, and in third by Sana Khan of Government College of Management Sciences Abbottabad with 1,092 marks.

In an address to the candidates, Hazara University Vice Chairman Dr Muhammad Idrees congratulated them on their success and expressed his hope that they would strive to use their proven talent and energy for the betterment and development of Pakistan.
